New Business Sales Executive


Role Objective:

 Creating new business sales opportunities and seeing deals through to completion



  •          We are looking for someone with initiative who is self-motivated and able to work on their own and as part of a team
  •          Able to attend business expo’s both as a visitor and to work a stand
  •          Able to find new business opportunities in multiple channels
  •          Able to work with medium-large businesses
  •          Be up to date with the latest technology and have an understanding of the telecoms market in Hull
  •          Must be IT literate
  •          Able to present high value proposals to potential clients
  •          Must represent the company professionally at all times
  •          Be able to attend Bondholders/Chambers meetings and events
  •          Driving licence and own vehicle preferred
  •          Punctual and an excellent time keeper

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Identify, contact and build relationships with prospective customers through a combination of telephone and in-person cold calls, networking and referrals to obtain appointments
  • Identify where marketing will open up opportunities
  • Compile and maintain effective records of clients/potential clients
  • Be able to prioritise enquiries
  • Attend meetings with senior level executives
  • Must be sales oriented and persistent to close deals – though never pushy
  • Effective communication with in house tech/support teams to ensure services are delivered
  • Communicate with clients through the whole process from first contact to installation date and beyond
  • Work with in house accounts team to ensure invoices produced accurately
  • Keep up to date with technology trends
  • Capture and review any competitive intelligence gathered and proactively communicates this information to marketing
